The carrier is a type of ship, which is an essential part of your fleet.
Carriers are one of the larger ships you can build and are excellent against the smaller ships: Fighters, Bombers, and Corvettes. Keep in mind that in large numbers, smaller ships can easily overwhelm carriers if the attacker or defending player has at least a 1/81 carrier/small ship ratio, as one carrier only has 80 targets per turn.
Carriers can easily be wiped out by Battleships or Dreadnaughts.
